Dave and Jackie have brought a brilliant buzz to Furness Vale with their hands on approach, football, and free food. The pub is getting busier all the time and I think everyone will agree (apart from a couple of sour faced losers), that with the amount of support and attention the pub is getting it will go from strength to strength.
The football element is becoming especially successful. On Saturday there were nearly 50 people in there to watch the Man United game and the free curry went down a storm. I intend to watch the Liverpool vs Everton game tonight and look forward to seeing you all in there.
I dont know if anyone has tried the food on the menu but I must commend DP's culinary skill. Everything I have had has been fantastic and very, very good value.
The next social event on the calender is the band playing on Valentine's night (Saturday 14th February). This promises to be a great night for couples and singletons alike.
So, get in Soldier Dick and take full advantage of all it has to offer!!!!!!!.
